Sewing Camp

Sewing Camp is for 7-11 year olds who want to learn how to sew and embroider a project with artist-in-residence Natalie Norman; and do fun activities related to nature, agriculture, art, immigration, and early settlers to Scandia, Minnesota.

NOTE: This description is for the 2023 Sewing Camp. The 2024 Sewing Camp description and registration information will be posted in January 2024. Please check back then for more information and to register.

Artist-in-residence Natalie Norman guides children on sewing a child-size pocket purse (kjolväskor) that American Girl Doll Kirsten wears. The kjolväskor can be worn around the waist or as a shoulder bag.
