Lemonade for the Lawnboy: The Musical!

UNLIKELY FRIENDSHIP INSPIRES UNLIKELY ARTISTIC COLLABORATION

Dream team of Minnesota artists, writers and musicians come together to create a very original musical.

“Lemonade for the Lawnboy: The Musical!” is a new musical written by Greta Grosch and featuring the music of Jimmy Kennedy and Joe Weismann (of “The Smarts”). Based on the real life experiences of Hastings residents Janet Letnes Martin and artist David Cook, “Lemonade for the Lawnboy: The Musical!” explores the magical and often tangled intersection between the genius of art and the self-destruction of addiction.

Featuring a powerhouse cast of Twin Cities performers: Roxanne Britz, Shana Eisenberg, Wendy Short Hays, Robbie Manicina, Tina North, Gail Ottmar, Janet Paone and Edward Williams.

Performances run June 1 – 5, 2016, at the Hastings Arts Center.

JOIN US FOR THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL EVENTS:
Wed, June 1 – 7PM. Opening night reception after the show. 
Thu, June 2 – 1PM and 7PM. Lemonade served at the matinee.
Fri, June 3 – 7 PM. Post show discussion with the cast/creators.
Sat, June 4 – 3PM and 7PM. Lemonade on the lawn between shows.
Sun, June 5 – 2PM. Closing performance.
