In the Gallery: Diana Hatchitt, Printmaker

Inspired by her work in nature, gardens, and daily walks, Diana finds that each season provides expressive moments to capture on paper. Some of these images are imagined and others are simply altered from the realistic sense though all were created from observation. Diana is particularly drawn to organic forms which lend themselves well to the printing matrix. Manipulating the plate to bring an idea and image to surface is a completely fulfilling and creative artistic experience.

The Stillwater Public Library Gallery is free and open to the public during regular library hours.
