In this class you will learn about growing microgreens, quick-growing vegetable and herb seedlings that can be grown indoors and can be used in salads or as fresh green in many types of dishes during the cold seasons of the year.
They are used as a nutrition supplement, a visual enhancement, and a flavor enhancement for many people focused on improving nutrition and they are very easy to grow indoors. U of M Extension Master Gardener volunteers are eager to share research-based gardening best practices that promote healthy landscapes, healthy foods, and healthy lives with the people in their community.
