Giving Faces to the Names

Local historian Herb Reckinger visits the Warden’s House Museum to discuss his ongoing mission with the “The Faces of the Wall” to find photographs of every person listed on the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington D.C.

Reckinger has spent the last several years meticulously tracking down and interviewing hundreds of surviving family members and friends of individuals killed during the Vietnam War.  Through his tireless efforts, the “Virtual Wall of Faces” now contains a photograph for every single Minnesotan listed on the Wall.

His efforts have continued into neighboring states as well.
