Getting to Know Minnesota Mushrooms

We will cover the basics of mushroom identification and survey of some common edible and poisonous mushrooms of Minnesota, including morels.

Instructor: Ron Spinosa, of the Minnesota Mycological Society

Ron Spinosa is a past president of the Minnesota Mycological Society. He is an amateur mycologist, who has been studying and enjoying mushrooms for over 30 years. Ron has given many presentations and workshops on mushrooms at nature centers, museums, schools, and garden clubs. He was a recipient of The Harry and Elsie Knighton Service Award by the North American Mycological Association.
