Franconia Yappy Hour

Ruff Start Rescue will be on-site with dogs available for adoption and a portion of all proceeds from the event will benefit their organization (please note: Ruff Start does not do same-day adoptions. Information will be available for anyone interested in adopting one of our pups).

This month we’ll be celebrating “Pride Pups”, so tie a rainbow bandana around your pup’s neck and show your support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Tag your dog in front of your favorite sculpture, play a game of corn hole, and enjoy a cool beverage…we’ll even have Dog-tinis! Enter your dog on-site to participate in our peanut butter eating contest to win prizes. Pet Supplies Plus in Roseville will also be on site with free samples and swag.

Dogs can also create their own painting for you to take home! Plus, we’ll have a portrait area for you and your celebri-pups to get a commemorative photograph taken at Franconia. Cuteness overload!!

About Ruff Start Rescue:
Ruff Start Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit foster-based animal rescue based in central Minnesota. Since 2010 we have rescued more than 13,000 animals. A majority of them had a truly rough start, coming from situations of neglect or abandonment. We also help animals that are strays or owner surrenders. All receive proper veterinary care and are housed in foster homes throughout the state of Minnesota as they wait for their forever home.

In addition to the dogs on-site available for adoption, Ruff Start has a number of pups that aren’t able to attend events due to health or behavioral issues.
