On October 23, 2015, Valley Outreach will hold its 2nd Annual Feed the Valley Cook’s Challenge, an entertaining and mission-filled event to benefit the programs of Valley Outreach. Last year’s event was a smashing success and a repeat performance, with some fresh ideas, is being enthusiastically planned!
Held at the Grand Banquet Hall in Stillwater, the Cook’s Challenge includes a spirited cooking competition among Twin Cities culinary arts students using ingredients from the Valley Outreach Food Shelf. KSTP Meteorologist Dave Dahl will act as event host, Cooks of Crocus Hill Owner Karl Benson will serve as commentator and professional chefs will judge the teams.
Throughout the evening guests will enjoy a delicious dinner, lively Dessert Dash, Wine Pull game and unique live auction; all while raising money for the Valley Outreach food shelf, clothing closet and emergency assistance program.
