Oil is my primary medium, although I occasionally work in acrylic, mixed media , and hand paper making. I love expressing myself through the act of creating.
I exhibit my work locally , as well as nationally ,at various galleries and juried exhibitions.
I draw inspiration from the natural world , but increasingly work in a non representational , intuitive way.
I love teaching others the joys of painting, and guiding others has always complemented time on my own work.

Currently I teach oil painting, to beginners and beyond , at Hastings Art Center.
I have also taught at The Phipps Center for the Arts, White Bear Center for the Arts, as well as my home studio.
