Instructor Amy Noonan will help students learn about sculptor Louise Nevelson’s passionate struggle for fame as an immigrant and woman in the male-dominated art world of the mid-19th century. Inspired by her work, students will use cast-off wood scraps to build and paint a small-scale, abstract sculpture of their own design.
