Paddle with a Ranger and an Artist: River Wishes

Join a Park Ranger and an Artist* for a creative journey. As we pause along our paddle, engage your senses to create impromptu arrangements of natural materials. Float or place them along the river as expressions of your wishes for the St. Croix. Bring a camera or phone to keep a record of your creation.

Kayaks and related equipment, including a personal flotation device, will be provided. A 30-minute paddling instruction and safety session will occur prior to departure and must be attended by all participants. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

The cost is $45 per person and space is limited to 8 participants. Due to limited space and number of programs, participants will only be allowed to register for one Paddle with a Ranger program.

There are no refunds for participant cancellations. Refunds will be provided in the event of NPS cancellations due to weather. Weather-related cancellations will not be rescheduled.

Shuttled by outfitter to Minnesota Interstate State Park
Pre-trip kayak instruction and safety messages from 12:00-12:30 pm
Paddle from 12:30-5:30pm
